Graduate Certificate in Applied Peace Building

ADMISSION REQUIRMENTS

Application Form and Fee: An online graduate application is available at  and should be filled out by the student. A non-refundable fee of $60 must be paid at time of application.

The following are the requirements to complete the application:

  1. Transcripts: Official transcript for a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum grade point average of 2.80 on a 4.0 scale. Official transcripts for all undergraduate and graduate courses must be submitted.
  2. Letter of Intent: An application letter that states the applicant's interest, goals, and potential use for the Certificate.
  3. Résumé: A current résumé or curriculum vitae is required.

**Typically, only one Applied Peacebuilding Graduate Certificate course is offered each semester. Therefore, applicants can expect to complete this graduate certificate in three semesters. Course offerings are limited. Not all electives will be offered each year.

Admissions to the Applied Peacebuilding Graduate Certificate is offered each Summer semester so that successful applicants can begin taking coursework in the Summer semester each year beginning with the required MSCM 7100.
