Clear Renewable Georgia Teaching Certificate - You must hold certification in middle or secondary education in the concentration
you are applying for. To print a copy of your Georgia clear, renewable certificate,
you may log onto www.gapsc.com.
Personal Statement - Can be uploaded into the online application. Should be 1-2 pages and describe your beliefs about education at the secondary or
middle grade level ...goals relative to the Master of Education in Secondary and Middle
Grades Education (SMGE).
Resume or Professional Vitae - Can be uploaded into the online application. Should document your education, years of teaching experience, current school and
district, volunteer and service activities in which you have participated, and any
Two Letters of Recommendation - Can be sent electronically through the online application. Recommendation must come from a Principal, an Assistant Principal, or a Teaching
Administrator such as a Grade-Level Chair, Instructional Lead Teaching, OR University
Faculty members or administrators.
